Current fees at the Centre Ostéo La Conversion, La Conversion (Vaud):

CHF 130

First consultation and follow-up

45 minutesComprehensive case history, postural assessment, osteopathic tests, treatment, advice

The first consultation may be longer if it includes a thorough case history: medical, surgical and trauma history, lifestyle habits, sporting activity and main reason for consultation. Reimbursement by supplementary insurance

Osteopathy is reimbursed in Switzerland through supplementary insurance, not by the basic health insurance. The reimbursement level depends on your specific contract.

Most Swiss insurers offer outpatient supplementary policies that cover complementary medicine including osteopathy.

How to check your coverage

To find out whether your insurance reimburses osteopathy and to what extent:

1

Check your contract: look for sections on "complementary medicine", "alternative medicine" or "natural medicine"

2

Call your insurer: specifically ask about reimbursement for osteopathy with an RME-registered practitioner

3

Check your insurer's mobile app: most show the reimbursed amount online

4

Request a list of recognised practitioners: your insurer can confirm that the Centre Ostéo La Conversion has recognised practitioners

We recommend checking your coverage before your first consultation to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

Requirement: RME registration

For your consultations to be reimbursed, the practitioner must be recognised by the ASCA and/or RME labels. Alexandre Dessaux is registered with the RME and recognised by all supplementary insurers.
